SCALE at VDI Conference Automotive CAE

Visit us at the VDI Conference from 19 to 20 November at the Automotive CAE in Baden-Baden.

The VDI congress "Automotive CAE: AI & ROM in Crash, Aero and Thermal Modeling" took place in the Kongresshaus Baden-Baden from 19 to 20 November 2019. This year's event was dedicated to the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ROM in the area of vehicle safety.

SCALE participated at the conference as an exhibitor and was available to answer questions regarding the product portfolio. On the first day of the conference, Marko Thiele, product manager of the SDM system LoCo, gave an interesting presentation on "Application of Machine Learning Techniques through Simulation Data Management (SDM)". Intelligent machine learning approaches and their potential in the support of calculation engineers were presented here.

The VDI Conference was a well-known industry event in the field of testing and calculation in the automotive sector. In numerous presentations on various topics, international experts from industry and research discussed the following topics:

  • Real-time interactive aerodynamic and crash simulation
  • Integration of AI in CAE solvers
  • New approaches of AI and ROM in the area of vehicle safety
  • Applications for battery cooling
