      Overview

Generative AI is increasingly being integrated directly into existing engineering work environments. In CAE, simulation data management (SDM) provides the structured context to deploy AI safely, transparently and efficiently in simulation processes.

      • Structured context for AI: SDM links CAD data, simulation models, results and metadata across variants and versions. This gives AI applications access to consistent and traceable engineering data.
      • Support in everyday engineering: Generative AI reduces repetitive tasks and supports documentation, pre- and post-processing as well as the analysis of simulations. The professional assessment and responsibility remain with the simulation engineer.
      • Using existing knowledge: Simulations, reports and project data become easier to find and use through AI. This allows existing engineering experience to be efficiently incorporated into new development projects.
