SCALE.sdm Opens Up for AI: New Interface for Intelligent Agents

SCALE.sdm provides an API interface. Result data is now directly integrable into agent-driven AI systems.

The new interface, based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enables companies for the first time to integrate their SCALE.sdm instance directly into agent-driven AI systems, taking intelligent automation to entirely new levels. The interface will be available from version 3.0.

What AI Agents Can Do Now

      • Make intelligent decisions: AI agents can analyze project data, requirements, and test results in real time and build on them.
      • Fully automate processes: AI-driven test analysis, requirements alignment, and automated reporting.
      • Evaluate results: Direct access to metadata enables AI-supported analysis of simulation or test parameters as well as result KPIs.
      • Gain efficiency: Repetitive tasks are fully taken over by intelligent agents.
      • Use semantic search: AI agents can semantically search result data—not just for exact text matches but for meaning and context—to find relevant requirements, tests, and results faster.

      Example Prompt

This is how a request to an AI agent accessing SCALE.sdm via the MCP interface might look:

Find all IIHS tests in the YARIS project with HIC > 700.

      Use the SCALE MCP interface:
      1. Load all simulations
      2. Semantically filter for IIHS tests
      3. Load attributes and filter for HIC > 700

      Output:
      - Test Name, IIHS Type, HIC Value, Status
      - Number of tests, Average HIC, Min/Max HIC
      - Table format in Markdown

      Enterprise-Ready and Secure

The interface is built for productive AI systems:

      • Role-based access control at the API level
      • Read-only access for maximum data security
      • Secure authentication and token management
