Bitkom introduces Big Data project VAViD

The project is being coordinated by the Fraunhofer Institute SCAI. As a partner of the project SCALE is involved in allowing a comparative and automated analysis of large and continuously increasing amounts of data. This includes the effective storing of large-size data amounts and the avoidance of redundant data sets.

The Bitkom study was realized in a joint project of the German Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media (Bitkom), Germany Trade and Invest as well as Smart Data Forum.

The publication introduces profiles and products of scientists, technology providers and users who are engaging with Big Data technologies. It will be distributed worldwide.
