        3D Preview in SCALE.sdm: Optimised Version Control for CAE Models

        The new 3D preview in SCALE.sdm makes version control of CAE models easier and more intuitive. Changes to the model geometry between different versions are displayed directly and visually – without long, text-based change lists.

        How it Works

        Select a version of a component and the 3D preview immediately shows you the differences from the previous version. Changes to the geometry are highlighted in colour and can be interactively explored. The model can be viewed from different angles to accurately visualise even complex changes.

        3D Preview also allows you to compare multiple versions, even across different development branches. For example, changes in version A are shown in dark blue and those in version B in orange. Areas that have changed in both versions appear in red. This way you can see at a glance which components have been changed and keep track of things.
