      Content

The ViPrIA project is a BMBF-funded project with the goal of developing intelligent assistance systems, i.e., based on artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) approaches, to support engineers in simulation-based, virtual product development. With the help of intelligent assistance functions, computational engineers are to be supported in the development process with complex decisions and relieved of routine tasks.

In practice, computational engineers are to be supported in two main stages of the development process: (1) First, by developing an intelligent assistance system that makes design suggestions and provides result predictions to the user when creating a numerical simulation. (2) On the other hand, by successively automating the analysis of complex simulation results.
