VAViD | Comparative Analysis of Engineering-Relevant Measurement and Simulation Data

The VAViD project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) with the aim of researching Big Data technologies for the intelligent handling of large and simultaneously heterogeneous data volumes in engineering fields. Compression technologies are to be developed for efficient handling of two data types that are dominant in industry: Data from numerical simulations and measurement data from sensors. The concepts and basic tools provided are to be implemented by practical users from the automotive and wind energy sectors, as well as from the aerospace and industrial plant sectors.
